Please comment as to whether it’s more important to have staff rates by work type or by customer. We have a method of doing this, and it’s planned however you feedback is appreciated.

An error occurred while saving the comment AdminBevan Falloon (Support, Jobsheet) commentedOnly on the new app are we planning to do a fixed dual or multiple rate on labour. It's actually very complicated once you put in customer rates as well. We will be working on a solution as part of the update program.
An error occurred while saving the comment AdminBevan Falloon (Support, Jobsheet) commentedWe have a planned update for this. Would be:
1. Time type rate. Set some rates for types of work done
2. Customer rate for those time types - set what a particular customers gets charged
Good feature.

An error occurred while saving the comment AdminBevan Falloon (Support, Jobsheet) commentedSuggestion: If you use work types you can then report on jobs on each work type which gives you revenue & GP (if you load buy prices and staff rates correctly). Hope that helps. Also, if you copy the text on the job report you can paste it into an Excel document to then manipulate with average job value, sort it by revenue or date etc. Really good to do if reporting is important. Additionally you can also copy and paste jobs lists (apart from To Start) to Excel.

Thanks Ross for the feedback. Here is what we are proposing we do:
1. Set a work type rate for each employee separately
2. Customer rate for work types are provided as an override so that they can be adjusted as needed per customer account.
3. Rate can be adjusted on the job at the time of entering the line item charging the customer.
