Emailing quotes & invoices from an iPad

Use an iPad? Here is how you can email an invoice (or any PDF) from an iPad...

First off, go to the app store and download Adobe PDF (free)
  1. First of all go to the customer card and hold down your finger on the customer's email address and you will get the option to copy it.
  2. Go to Invoice page and click "Create PDF".
  3. This will open up the PDF in your web browser on the iPad. Click the screen once, and at the top shows an option to open the PDF in an app. Choose Adobe PDF.
  4. Once Adobe PDF has opened the invoice, click on 'email document' which is the top right hand corner of the screen
  5. A new email will appear with the invoice attached. Hold down your finger on the email address line and choose 'paste'
  6. Put in message & send
Note if you have an iPad that has restrictions on it, the app store won't show up. Disable restrictions with your master pass code, then download the PDF app.
