About Xero Tracking Codes

Tracking codes in Xero are designed to track each staff member and areas or types of work you might do. This is a very powerful reporting tool.

Jobsheet can read these tracking codes that you have set up in Xero, and then attach them with invoices you send to your Xero account so your invoices show the correct tracking code automatically.

How to set up your Xero Tracking Codes:

Go into your Xero account > Settings > Tracking

Add a Tracking Category called "Staff"
Add as Options your staff members

Come back to Jobsheet, and in the user admin you will see a "Xero Tracking Codes" option where you can match the user with the tracking code in Xero.

*You can also add a second tracking category for things like "north" or "south" if you staff have areas, or "plumbing" or "electrical" if they have a certain work type.
