Downloading a PDF in Chrome - how to make it do what you want
Google Chrome browser by default automatically shows PDF's rather than downloading them. To force Chrome to download the PDF and show in the bar at the bottom of the screen follow these steps. The reason why you would want it is so that you can click and drag it into an email easily speeding up the process
To force Chrome to download the PDF instead of open it in the browser, follow these steps:Go to: chrome://plugins/ (click, type or paste into your address bar)
Click "Disable" Chrome PDF Viewer
AND/OR
Click "Disable" Adobe Reader
Also, if there are any references to PDF's then disable them as well.
